The National University Robotics Championship is a national scientific event organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance technical creativity and motivate students to develop their practical and theoretical skills in robotics, intelligent systems, control, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems.
The championship is built around six specialized competitive tracks covering the mechanical, electronic, software, and engineering aspects of modern robotics, serving as a national platform to discover talent and support applied projects in Iraqi universities.
To become Iraqโs largest applied scientific platform for showcasing engineering talent and building an innovative research environment in robotics and artificial intelligence, aligned with the global direction of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is the current stage of technological development, integrating the physical, digital, and biological worlds.
To empower Iraqi students and researchers to develop their technical skills through advanced scientific competitions, promote the culture of applied research, teamwork, and innovation, strengthen collaboration between universities and industry, and support promising projects to become products of national value.
The championship aims to achieve the following:
